INVENTORY SUPERVISOR - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position
The Inventory Supervisor – Cycle Count will oversee the accurate tracking and management of JAX 2 & JAX 3 inventory levels through regular cycle counts and periodic audits. This position will ensure all inventory transactions are executed correctly, discrepancies are resolved, and inventory accuracy is maintained at optimal levels. The role will focus on ensuring the integrity of the inventory by managing the cycle count program, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and driving continuous improvements in inventory management.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, organize, and manage the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Lead and supervise cycle count teams to ensure counts are performed according to the schedule.
- Review and analyze cycle count results, ensuring timely corrections of discrepancies.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams and other departments to address discrepancies discovered during cycle counts.
- Ensure the inventory levels are properly tracked and recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with the receiving, shipping, and production departments to ensure inventory is accurately tracked and reported.
- Coordinate with external auditors or internal audit teams for year-end inventory assessments.
- Report any inventory audit findings and discrepancies to management, proposing solutions and corrective actions.
- Supervise and lead inventory personnel during cycle counting and inventory reconciliation processes.
- Provide training and guidance to inventory team members on cycle count procedures, inventory best practices, and operational standards.
- Motivate the team to maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency during inventory tasks.
- Adhere to established safety guideline.
- Perform other duties which may be required by supervisor.

Education and Experience:
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience inventory control, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Working knowledge of an MRP system.

Environment: Climate controlled office and Shop/warehouse, which is not climate controlled. Exposure to excessive heat and cold, wet/humid conditions, noise/vibration, hazards, dust and fumes.
