MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - SURREY, BC
Purpose of Position:
The ideal candidate for the position is detail-oriented, electrically and mechanically inclined and willing to take on responsibilities for the maintenance department and special projects as needed. Ability to work in different sites within the Lower Mainland.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for all aspects of setting up, maintaining and preventative maintenance of all equipment (Amada, Boschert, Artos, Epilog etc.)

PROCESS ENGINEER - FREMONT, CA / JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position:
The top priorities of this position will be to support operations in delivering quality products on time and to the customer's requirements. It will require learning and understanding electrical and mechanical design, assembly processes, and test requirements. The candidate will design and document processes, tooling, and assembly fixtures to meet engineering drawing requirements. The candidate will also identify and propose cost savings, solve problems, and quickly respond to process and quality issues. Tooling and Process

QUALITY MANAGER - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position:
The top priorities of this position will be to measure, monitor and lead implementation and development of the Quality Management System and continuous improvement programs in all areas of the organization at the manufacturing site – both internal and external.
Significant involvement with all areas of product and manufacturing, while also increasing our communication and collaboration with key departments is instrumental in this position.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the development, maintenance and certification of the Quality Management System according to the ISO 9001 standard (Procedures, Processes and Work Instructions)

PRODUCTION CONTROL SUPERVISOR - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and managing of production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company’s productive capacity as well as serving as liaison between the Commercial Services Department and Production.
Essential Functions:
- Review new customer orders and establishes shipping schedules compatible with customer requirements and production capabilities.
- Commit to a delivery schedule and ensures on time delivery is met.
- Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
- Receive and review sales orders against current requirements and work in process.

Essential Functions:
- Read, interpret and follow basic diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other instructions or procedures to accurately fabricate materials and equipment.
- Set up and operate fabricating machines, such as press brakes, rolls, punch press, shears, cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or otherwise form and assemble metal components.

PAYROLL SPECIALIST - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for maintaining payroll systems and processing payment according to schedule and in the correct amount.
Essential Functions:
- Review new hires to confirm for accuracy in ADP WFN
- Review timecards for accuracy and place in payroll status in time tracking system
- Process commission and bonus payments
- Complete multi- state payroll all employees
- Complete payroll tax registration
- Maintain any applicable spreadsheets for payroll related entries

JUNIOR QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER (ENGINEERED PRODUCT) - SURREY, BC
Purpose of Position:
The ideal candidate is able to stay organized and maintain their attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Good computer skills are also necessary, as they will have to work with an ERP system and Microsoft Office programs.
Essential Functions:
- Able to work at Surrey and Port Coquitlam Locations.
- Understand and apply electrical safety measures and electric hazard approach limits as these apply to the equipment and tools used in the performance of the work activities. Ensure these measures protect all personnel working on or in the vicinity while the work is being undertake.
- Must apply IEM Electrical safety policies and protocols which meet WorkSafe BC standards and approvals.
- Read, understand and apply electrical codes and standards for electrical equipment as these pertaining to IEM built products. Examples are Creepage and Clearance of Electrical circuits, Grounding and Bonding, conductor sizing and, overcurrent protection, etc…
- Review of electrical components, determine proper certification/listing marks are applied and confirmation of the device meeting the required specifications needed for the circuit in which it will be employed using product specific data sheets and manuals.
- Reading and understand electrical schematics for the purpose of building, testing or troubleshooting electrical controls and power circuits
- Troubleshoot to determine production or design errors in electrical circuit logic
- Mount electrical components including circuit breakers, switches, transformers, relays, contactors, terminals, input/output devices and/or all other related switchgear electrical devices.
- Able to wire controls as it relates to electrical controls, panelboards and switchgear
- Fully knowledgeable in the proper use of tools necessary for drilling, tapping, punching and mounting components in electrical controls, panels and switchgear
- Create simulation test logic using relays, PLCs and the such to provide the necessary external logic to test product control schemes when necessary.
- Maintain records of all personal and company owned test equipment and ensuring these are within Certification usage date, not expired and remains within the permissible Instrument Accuracy Limits at all times of use (tool must be compared to device of known accuracy as benchmark)

- Use of HV test equipment (Dielectric Strength, Megger, etc.) to ensure the product under test meets and passes production line tests mandated within the certification files and by the applicable standards of the build
- Responsible for timely completion of Test Records and storage of these to IEM Server data base (Worknet)
- Responsible for taking and storage of evidentiary photos to IEM Worknet for future reference if required. All photos must be clear, photos of nameplates warning labels, rating label and components must be able to read the text to determine validity.

ENGINEERING ASSISTANT - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position:
To support to the local engineering team and engineering manager.

Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for performing accounting functions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Essential Functions:
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts with related schedules.
- Retrieve, review, create and post daily transactions from the bank accounts to the general ledger. Reconcile the bank accounts monthly.
- Review, reconcile and post vouchers processed by Accounting Clerks to the accounting system.

PROJECT MANAGER - FREMONT, CA
Essential Functions:
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following for our key enterprise clients:
- Develop and maintain project schedules:
- Coordinates customer deliverables with plant production.
- Reconciles production schedule to customer demand.
- Reconcile customer forecast changes to production plan, update system and provide status reports to all stakeholders.
- Coordinates with materials team and vendors to ensure production deliverables are met.
- Works with logistics team to coordinate shipments to customer sites.
- Administering and coordinating customer’s entire cycle will include but not limited to:

STAFFING COORDINATOR - JACKSONVILLE, FL
Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for planning, organizing and scheduling workers to ensure the company’s labor requirements and needs are fulfilled.
Essential Functions:
- Plan, organize and implement sustainable staffing strategy
- Ensures staffing requirements are met
- Support recruitment efforts by posting open positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, preparing offers, and processing pre-employment activities (e.g., reference checks, background screening and drug screening)

FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER (TARGET DATA CENTER MARKETS)
Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for directly commissioning, troubleshooting and performing maintenance on IEM as well as non-IEM products. This position is based out of a location where IEM does not have a service office or production facility and requires a level of experience and independence working at customer sites performing field service on power products.
Essential Functions:
- Provide product/field service expertise, with the ability to service and support complex power and control systems.
- Travel to customer sites to complete commissioning activities independently, or to lead a team when additional resources are required to meet a timeline.
- As required, travel to manufacturing or field service offices of IEM to participate in or lead training exercises, or to participate in factory witness/shop testing.
- Attend site meetings and walk-throughs.
- Identifies project areas of risk that may adversely affect success of the project or that may pose safety risks for themselves or other technicians working onsite.
- Assists with project start-up and resolving punch list items found at the job. Works with IEM Project Managers to update punch lists and ensure jobs are closed out.
- Reports back issues to manufacturing facilities regarding whether quality control standards are upheld to project design criteria and product specifications. Works with production and engineering teams to help resolve any deficiencies that are found.
- Work with the Field Service Lead in scheduling additional field resources and/or teams to cover service needs.

LEAD FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - C&I, US FLEXIBLE
Purpose of Position:
This position is responsible for directly scheduling, managing and enabling the success of a team of field service techs/engineers as they commission, troubleshoot or perform maintenance on custom IEM and occasionally non-IEM manufactured products. The lead will play a dual role as a Regional Team Lead and travelling Field Service Engineer, with the ability to commission high level IEM LV and MV equipment without the aid of a script, including systems with automation elements.
Essential Functions:
- Provide supervision, mentorship and on-the-job training to field service engineers and technicians
- Reviews Field Trip Requests from sales and schedules technicians for successful fulfillment
- Provide product/field service expertise, acting as a technical lead to a team of techs/engineers
- As required, travel to customer sites to lead commissioning activities with junior techs/engineers or to complete independently.
- As required, travel to manufacturing or field service offices of IEM to meet with subordinates, participate in or lead training exercises, or to participate in factory witness/shop testing.
- Attend site meetings and walk-throughs.
- Identifies project areas of risk that may adversely affect success of subordinate technicians
- Assists with project start-up and resolving punch list items found at the job. Works with IEM Project Managers to update punch lists and ensure jobs are closed out.
- Reports back issues to manufacturing facilities regarding whether quality control standards are upheld to project design criteria and product specifications. Works with production and engineering teams to help resolve any deficiencies that are found.
- Work with the Field Service Manager in scheduling additional field resources and/or teams to cover service needs.
- Performs other duties as required by supervisor.

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL) - STERLING, VA / BOARDMAN, OR / FREMONT, CA / COLUMBUS, OH
Purpose of Position:
IEM will provide training on our specific equipment and commissioning process in Jacksonville, FL for approximately 4 weeks. You will be responsible for hands-on field service work at customer sites, with a focus on installation of components and subassemblies, and basic commissioning of IEM equipment primarily in data center or industrial applications. This includes, but may not be limited to:
- Attending project meetings as required, including coordination with contractors and clients.
- Installation and modification of electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies which may include: Panelboard interiors; Circuit breakers; Bus bar; Switchgear section doors and subpanels; Addition of control components; Power Cabling and control wiring;
- Perform basic testing of modified assemblies (visual, ductor, etc.).
- Perform basic commissioning of switchboards, controls panels, and power products.
- Troubleshooting of electrical circuits and networking equipment.
- Coordinating with Technical Project Manager or manufacturing facilities to find solutions to product or commissioning issues identified by IEM or reported by the customer in the field, and identifying additional field resources needed for installation and replacement parts
- Performing preventive maintenance, field installations and modifications to existing equipment

Education and Experience:
- A technical degree or equivalent and 1-2 yrs. of experience working in a manufacturing environment or field service role with ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.
- Must be a team player and have strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision is a must
- Ability to travel. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
- Experience with switchgear and electrical controls system. (Plus)
