Waste Not, Want Not
IEM operates with efficiency and resourcefulness at the core of our culture. Our “waste not, want not” philosophy guides continuous improvement in energy use, waste reduction, and material efficiency. IEM is developing a formal waste tracking system, and data will be disclosed in subsequent reports. We view compliance with global, federal, state, and local laws as the bare minimum and starting point, not the finish line.
Our Climate Commitment
IEM is committed to achieving carbon neutrality across Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions in our global wholly owned manufacturing and logistics operations by 2040.
We continue to develop and implement a carbon reduction roadmap to support these objectives. Our Board of Directors provides oversight on sustainability, compliance, and corporate governance. The Board receives regular updates on ESG-related initiatives and performance.

LED Lighting
100% of IEM’s Manufacturing facilities have incorporated
LED lighting. We expect to continue to invest in highefficiency
lighting initiatives as our manufacturing footprint
evolves.
Waste Reduction Strategy
Our waste reduction strategy begins with waste prevention.
We aim to use less material during manufacturing
to reduce waste at the source. When our manufacturing
operations generate waste, we work to minimize landfill
disposal through material recycling — segregating waste
into source-separated material streams and recycling with
local recycling partners.
IEM maintains compliance with applicable environmental
laws and regulations governing waste disposal, air emissions,
water discharges, and the handling of hazardous
and toxic materials. Our chemical management practices
include routine monitoring, annual reviews, and regulatory
reporting as required.

On-Site Solar Power in Belgium
IEM’s Belgium facility hosts a 69kW rooftop solar PV array that
generates clean electricity directly on-site, reducing the
facility’s usage of grid electricity by approximately 40%
and demonstrating IEM’s commitment to embedding
renewable generation into its operations.
