INSIDE SALES PROJECT MANAGER – FREMONT, CA

Purpose of the Position:

The overall responsibility of this position is to support Sales Manager in the sales process for assigned sales accounts to ensure a smooth sales process.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Work closely with Sales Manager and oversee the sales process for assigned accounts and  ensure all areas of the sales process are executed to plan
  • Facilitate and coordinate with other teams, such as quotations, engineering, drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, testing, and shipping to ensure customer’s needs are met
  • Be responsible for the preparation of order entry, drawing Submittal Package, and Operation & Maintenance manuals
  • Prepare cost estimates and quotations by reviewing customer specifications and other related documents.
  • Work closely with Purchasing to ensure product/inventory needs are met
  • Maintain a good relationship with Manufacturing and Operations teams
  • Act as a Liaison between our internal teams and the customer
  • Ensure post order requirements from customers are met
  • Act as a coordinator for Factory Acceptance Testing & Factory Witness Testing when required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing contractors, customers, and industrial accounts

ENTRY-LEVEL PRODUCTION WORKER – FREMONT, CA

Low-Voltage and Medium-Voltage Assemblers - 1st Shift 6AM - 2:30PM

Requirements: Requirements: Complete the assembly of large and complex electrical equipment, including bus bar and electrical components. Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools and tape measure. Working well with others, following instructions, and being capable of lifting 50 lbs. TRAINING PROVIDED

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in a metal fabrication shop using mechanical equipment is a plus.
  • Welding experience is a plus.

 

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting - 10%; Walking/Standing - 90%
  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and climb.
  • Long periods of close work on small fonts and fine print on drawings and ability to see small or detailed items.

POWDER COATER PAINTER (1ST & 2ND SHIFT) - FREMONT, CA

Essential Functions:

Assembly for powder coating process, operating spray gun, loading metal pieces onto paint-line hooks, unloading metal pieces after painting, and general shop cleaning. Working well with others, following instructions, and being capable of lifting 50 lbs.

 

Shifts Available: 

Morning Shift: 6:00am - 2:30am
Evening Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

 

Education and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

CNC MACHINE PROGRAMMER - FREMONT, CA

Purpose of Position:

The CNC Programmer is responsible to plan, program and machine quality parts.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and refine CNC laser programs and support tooling for machined and fabricated parts using CAD.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and related technical data to determine tool requirement, set-up procedure, control setup, and machine methods & sequences for machines.
  • Work with and participate in cross functional teams for continuous improvement.
  • Make and incorporate suggestions for changes in dies, fixtures or materials used per documented procedures.
  • Train and teach necessary operators.
  • Maintain records and revisions for all programs.
  • Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

METAL FABRICATOR (2ND SHIFT) - FREMONT, CA

Essential Functions:

Fabricates and assembles sheet metal products according to drawing specifications. Locates and marks bending and cutting lines onto work piece. Sets up and operates fabricating machines, such as brakes, rolls, shears, and drill presses. Working well with others, following instructions, and being capable of lifting 50 lbs. also required.

 

Shift Available:

Evening Shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm

 

Education and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Experience in metal fabrication shop using mechanical equipment is a plus

SWITCHGEAR & CONTROLS DESIGN ENGINEER - JACKSONVILLE, FL - PORTLAND, OR - VANCOUVER (CANADA)

Essential Functions:

  • Create drawings and bills of materials from which IEM will build custom electrical switchgear/switchboards (control systems involving PLC’s, intelligent controllers and protective relays will be implemented within designs)
  • Write detailed Sequences of Operation on certain projects with automation components
  • Complete programming assignments of automation components, protective devices, or other electrical equipment
  • Travel to customer sites occasionally for commissioning, troubleshooting or evaluation purposes as well as travel for job training, project testing or other project related business (should not exceed 30%)

 

Education and Requirements:

  • BSEE or equivalent and a minimum of 3 years working in a power and/or control (PLC system) related field
  • Proficient in 2D CAD drawing (AutoCAD)
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and control system principles
  • Familiarity with reading electrical schematics, three-line diagrams and control/communications diagrams
  • Previous hands-on field experience
  • Willingness to travel; Will relocate domestically for this position
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of IEEE/ANSI C37.20 and UL891/1558 design guidelines and NFPA70E

 


FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER - MARKHAM, ON (Canada)

Purpose of Position:

This position will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, analyzing/identifying causes of mis-operation and repairing instruments/products at customer’s location.  In addition, when not working on site, this position will provide engineering, PLC/HMI programming and customer support services.

 

Essential Functions:       

  • Commission of power products and control systems for power products.  System integration with other vendors’ equipment may be required, including but not limited to generators, UPS’s and SCADA systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance, field installations and modifications
  • Technical product support and troubleshooting
  • Work with project engineers and project managers to select and coordinate the replacement of parts
  • Perform engineering site surveys on equipment to determine scope of field work
  • Perform programming and service on complex automation and protective relaying systems

 

Education and Requirements:

  • Technical degree or equivalent and a minimum 3 yrs. of relevant experience or a minimum of 5 yrs. experience working in field service of complex electrical systems.
  • Experience with multiple/paralleling generator control system start-ups utilizing multi-function protection relays (Basler, GE or Schweitzer) and multi-function engine controllers (Woodward & ComAp) a plus
  • Ability to make changes in the field to HMI screen & PLC ladder logic programming is highly desirable
  • Willingness to travel, being a team player, having strong communication skills and an ability to work independently without supervision a must
  • Ability to travel up to 80%.  Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
