IEM Expands Field Service Network to Strengthen Customer Support Across North America
November 18, 2025
IEM has more than tripled its field service staff over the past 18 months to stay ahead of rapid growth across industries that depend on speed, precision and reliability, from hyperscale data centers to complex industrial applications. IEM’s field service expansion also includes seven new locations since the start of 2025. The enhanced service footprint is helping customers access local expertise faster, often when downtime isn’t an option and every minute counts.
“Our ongoing expansion reflects our commitment to being close to our customers, and scaling to deliver the level of service they expect from IEM,” said Sean Goforth, Chief Revenue Officer. “It’s ultimately about proximity and responsiveness.”
At the center of that effort are IEM’s Field Service technicians, whose work begins long before a system is switched on. Whether they’re commissioning new equipment, troubleshooting an issue or fine-tuning performance, they’re translating industry leading engineering into real-world results. Each jobsite presents its own variables, and technicians rely on both experience and the backing of IEM’s engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver solutions that hold up under pressure.
Safety is woven into every step of that process. Site visits start with detailed assessments, job hazard analyses, lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures and system checks, so tasks begin with a clear understanding of the risks and the safeguards in place. It’s a disciplined approach that reflects the environments IEM operates in, where safety and reliability go hand in hand.
“IEM technicians combine technical expertise with a problem-solving mindset, allowing us to adapt quickly, work safely and ensure every system operates reliably in the environments our customers depend on,” said Goforth.
As IEM continues to scale field service presence in step with customer needs, the focus remains consistent: invest in people, stay close to customers and solve complex challenges with a practical, boots-on-the-ground approach.
