LEARNING TOOLS & TECHNOLOGY ADMINISTRATOR - US FLEXIBLE
Purpose of Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning Tools & Technology Administrator to join our Talent Development team. This is a new role within our organization, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in implementing and managing learning tools and technologies as well as creating and maintaining TD SOPs. The Learning Tools & Technology Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and support of the LMS and other learning technologies, ensuring an optimal learning experience for all users. Responsibilities:

  1. Learning Technologies Implementation:
    • Work with IT, HR, and key stakeholders to implement the LMS and other learning technologies, including system setup, configuration, and integration with existing systems.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote user adoption by leading user reviews, demos, and education sessions.
    • Contribute to development and execution of an implementation project plan.
    • Develop standardized platform operational processes, procedures, and guidelines.
  2. Standard Operating Procedures:
    • Work with TD leadership to develop TD SOPs governing all aspects of TD processes.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to educate, advise, and promote the adoption of TD SOPs.
    • Perform ongoing review and maintenance of TD SOPs.
  3. System Management:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the LMS and other learning technology platforms, working with the vendor to ensure system performance and reliability.
    • Perform regular system updates, upgrades, and maintenance tasks as needed.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  4. User Management:
    • Work with IT to establish, maintain, and troubleshoot the HRIS data feed.
    • Create and manage user accounts, roles, and permissions.
    • Manage access to training content and enroll users in courses as needed.
    • Provide technical support and training to users.
  5. Content Management:
    • Upload, organize, and maintain training materials and resources within the LMS and other learning technology platforms.
    • Create and manage courses, modules, assessments, and learning journeys, collaborating with the TD team and content owners to ensure content is current and relevant.
    • Provide support to users using platform content builder tools.
    • Work closely with the TD team and SMEs to develop and implement effective training programs, assisting with the design and development of new learning materials as needed.
  6. Reporting and Analysis:
    • Generate and analyze reports on user activity, course completion rates, and other key metrics.
    • Use data insights to make recommendations for improving the LMS and training programs.
  7. Integration and Customization:
    • Integrate the LMS with other organizational and third-party systems and tools.
    • Apply organizational branding and messaging to LMS UI.
    • Develop and implement functionalities and features as needed.
  8. Security and Compliance:
    • Work with IT to ensure learning platforms comply with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
    • Work with IT to ensure appropriate security measures to protect user data and system integrity are implemented and maintained.
  9. Continuous improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in learning technologies and e-learning.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the user experience and effectiveness of learning technologies.
    • Provide recommendations for system improvements and process enhancements.
  10. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in LMS administration, including experience with LMS implementation.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in creating and maintaining TD SOPs.
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in LMS and other learning tools and technology platforms, including knowledge of e-learning standards including SCORM, AICC, and xAPI.
  • Experience integrating LMS with other systems and customizing LMS features.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support users at all levels.
  • Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations related to LMS.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in IT, Human Resources, System Administration, or related field is preferred.

 

Salary Range:

$90,000 - $120,000 DOE
