Ed Rossi
President
Ed Rossi is president and chief executive officer of IEM.
Rossi joined IEM in 1989 as vice president of marketing and later became executive vice president and chief operating officer in 1993.
In 1995, he was named president of the company spearheading new product development and general management. He left IEM in 2001 to form e4 Solutions but returned to the new IEM as president in 2003.
Under his direction, IEM annual sales have grown over 400% since 2004 and the Company has forged a solid reputation as a manufacturer of custom electrical distribution equipment.
Prior to joining IEM, Rossi held various sales and marketing roles for GE, becoming National Sales Manager for GE Supply in 1987. He began his career in the electrical industry at ITE Imperial in 1974 before moving on to GE in 1978.
Rossi earned a BSME from Santa Clara University. He remains active in local charities and his family’s wine business in Napa.
Frank Cavezza
Executive Vice President Operations, IEM Fremont
Frank Cavezza is executive vice president of operations at IEM’s main plant in Fremont, CA.
Cavezza is a cornerstone of the IEM management team.
He joined the Company in 1975 and is responsible for building an exceptional and experienced operations team that includes: Greg Fitzgerald – Production Manager, 20 years; Bob Strack – Design Manager, 30 years; Don Kreitzer – LV Plant Manager, 45 years; Dennis Sapp – HV Plant Manager, 30 years; Tony Perreira – SM Plant Manager, 35 years; and Bob Walter – QC Manager, 35 years.
His career includes time with Westinghouse and ITE, and Anixter Power (acquired by IEM in 1975) – but for Frank and his team, it’s all about IEM.

John Hulme
Executive Vice President Finance
John Hulme is executive vice president of finance at IEM.
He has been affiliated with IEM since 1976 and is responsible for accounting, purchasing, and systems.
Hulme pioneered the development and use of computer-aided-design software at IEM, putting the Company at the forefront of CAD/CAM deployment in the electrical equipment industry. His FISI and configuration software is still in use at IEM today, enabling custom designs and fast turnaround.
Hulme earned a BS in Math, BA in Asian Languages, and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University. He maintains a long-standing membership in Vistage International, an executive leadership group with over 14,500 members worldwide.

Doug Kristensen
Executive Vice President, IEM Canada
Doug Kristensen is executive vice president at IEM, overseeing IEM Canada.
Kristensen has over 23 years’ experience in power systems switchgear and control experience in various senior roles in sales, marketing and product development.
He is actively strengthening the IEM Canada operation to reflect the Company’s growing design expertise and its ability to deliver custom equipment for larger projects.
He looks forward to bringing both his experience and passion for power system solutions to IEM and assist with process/product integration of all IEM business units and establishing IEM as the premier power systems/quality provider in the industry.
Kristensen graduated from SAIT Polytechnic in Calgary, AB with diplomas in both Power and Chemical Engineering Technology.

Bill Young
Executive Vice President, IEM & President, IPS
Bill Young is executive vice president of IEM, overseeing the Jacksonville Fla. operations.
Young founded Industrial Power Systems, Inc. in 1981 as an electrical panel shop but quickly expanded into engine/generator controls and switchgear. He established IPS as a complete systems integrator as well as expanding into Marine electrical products and control systems software. IPS was acquired by IEM in 2011 and is now a subsidiary of IEM.
Young brings a well-established background to IEM that includes experience working at Cutler Hammer and several companies designing and manufacturing industrial controls for a wide range of industries.
Young earned an AAS from Milwaukee School of Engineering, and a Electrical Engineering degree from Southern Polytechnic State University.

Bruce Baumann
Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing
Baumann joined IEM in 2012 after a 42 year career with Westinghouse (20) and ABB Inc. (22) in sales and marketing roles, primarily in Medium and High Voltage divisions. He’s responsible for managing sales and marketing activities for all IEM companies, as well as development of sales channels, new customers and commercial activities.
Baumann brings a well-established background to IEM that includes experience working as ABB’s OEM National Sales Manager and held roles developing market and business opportunities for the U.S., Europe, and South Africa. He has also managed distributors, manufacturer’s representatives, and direct sales personnel.
Baumann earned an BSEE from Purdue University, and a ABB Leadership program from Duke University, Fuqua School of Business.

Don Kozerski
Vice President, Marketing and Bay Area Sales
Don Kozerski is vice president of marketing at IEM, managing all corporate marketing and sales support initiatives.
Kozerski has been with IEM since 1995 with previous experience at GE, Cutler Hammer, and Square D in various sales and sales management roles. He is actively strengthening the IEM brand to reflect the Company’s growing design expertise and its ability to deliver custom equipment for larger projects. His knowledge of the industry and the challenges facing IEM’s customers enable the Company to maximize its contribution on every project.
Kozerski graduated with a BS in Industrial Engineering from Michigan State University.

Jerry Gierke
Vice President Sales – Western Region
Jerry Gierke is vice president of sales for the Western United States at IEM.
Gierke began his career at IEM as vice president of sales for the utility and commercial markets in 1970. He developed and marketed IEM’s proprietary 15kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker which was later sold to Square D and was instrumental in IEM’s growth. He joined LGE Electrical Sales as president in 1985 but returned to the new IEM in 2002 in his present capacity. Since his return, he’s expanded sales from a local/regional to national basis and has managed many of IEM’s largest accounts.
Gierke received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Heald College. He prides himself on his many long-standing relationships with notables in the industry.

Dan Hulme
Vice President, Information Technology
Dan Hulme is vice president of IT, overseeing all IEM systems including company’s expansion to new facilities both in Canada and Florida.
Hulme joined IEM in 1995 and has developed several programs including the company’s Enterprise Resource Planning system. Hulme has also initiated the use of computer-aided design interface software as well as solution based programs for both manufacturing and scheduling. His programs have accelerated the company’s processes placing IEM in the forefront of the industry.
Hulme has a BSCS from Brigham Young University, Cum Laude.

Tom Cook
Vice President Sales – Eastern Region
Tom Cook oversees all IEM sales activity and reps in the Eastern Region of the U.S.
Cook joined IEM in 2008 after a 21 year career with GE in the electrical distribution industry. He’s responsible for expanding the role and awareness of IEM among east coast customers and partners.
Cook brings a well-rounded background to IEM that includes experience working at both a manufacturer and electrical distributor, holding a variety of positions in sales, sales management, marketing, general management, and operations management. This gives him a strong background on the market, products, customer requirements, competition, and complementary products.
Cook earned an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and a BS in Industrial Distribution at Clarkson University.

Guy Anderson
Vice President IEM Canada
Guy Anderson is vice president of IEM Canada, overseeing all Canadian sales and engineering operations.
Anderson joined IEM in 2007 after 12 years in sales, management, and research with Thompson Technology, Dirk & Price Engineering and Nova Solar Systems.
He’s an expert in the design of control and parallel switchgear systems and is well versed with Canada’s electrical distribution business requirements.
Anderson received a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Assiniboine College, Brandon MB Canada in 1993.

Ashok Kulkarni
Vice President, Certification and Standards
Ashok Kulkarni is vice president of engineering at IEM, overseeing the development of new products and customer solutions, product testing, IEM processes, and agency certifications.
Kulkarni joined IEM in 2008 after a 20 year career in electronics that included executive positions in the elevator motor control, uninterruptible power supply, and power electronics industries. He is adept at managing large international projects and has the perspective and strength of conviction to take IEM to the next level.
Kulkarni was awarded a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M, an ME from McGill University in Montreal, and a BE from Bangalore University in India

Marian Justiss
Vice President Development
Marian Justiss is vice president of development at IEM, overseeing the growth and expansion of IEM’s recently acquired companies and new facilities both in Canada and Florida. She is currently the engineering manager at IPS, and is also responsible for corporate human resources and staffing for all IEM companies.
Justiss joined IEM in 2012 after a 30 year career in high tech engineering and operations at both Active Power and Extreme Power. Marian brings to IEM her extensive management experience encompassing project engineering, design, regulatory compliance, operations, system verification, etc.
Justiss has an in BSEE from University of Texas and a MS in Mathematics from Texas A&M University.

Andy Pardue
Vice President of Product Development and Analysis
Andy Pardue oversees all development of new products and the application of computer analysis in the product development process.
Pardue brings a well-rounded background to IEM that includes experience as president of PAR3 Technology and director level positions at Cummin’s providing design, analysis and manufacturing expertise in the development of next-generation products. Andy has a broad range of skills in the mechanical and thermal design of systems and expertise in building computer modeling skills in companies.
Pardue earned a BS, MS, and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Technological University. He has issued numerous patents and publications as well as coordinated programs with international committees, production facilities and universities.

John Poulsen
Vice President of Sales – Southern Region
John Poulsen oversees all IEM sales activity and reps in the Southern Region of the U.S. and Caribbean.
Poulsen joined IEM in 2012 after a 34 year career with ABB in the electrical distribution industry. He’s responsible for expanding the role and awareness of IEM and IPS among southern region customers and partners.
Poulsen brings a well-rounded background to IEM that includes experience working at both a manufacturer and sales level in all phases of low and medium voltage power systems. This gives him a strong background on the market, products, customer requirements, competition, and complementary products.
Poulsen earned an BSEE from the Auburn University and a Master of Science in Management from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL.
